Adam is a graduate of the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. He has a background in Arts Education and Arts Management with focuses in photography and puppetry. Adam is the Puppet Program Coordinator for PACER Puppets, a project of the PACER Center in Minneapolis, and is enrolled in the Masters of Nonprofit Management program at Hamline University.
Jill LaMere – Board Secretary
Jill has over 15 years of leadership experience working as the Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer at a large full-service firm in Minneapolis. She has been an active volunteer for the Washburn High School Arts program and served as the treasurer for both the Minneapolis Boys High School Hockey and Lacrosse Booster organizations.
Jake Powell - Board Treasurer
Jake has extensive experience providing support to disabled adults through working as a direct support professional with Pathways to Community as well as his tenure as a reader and scribe for the University of St. Thomas Disabilities Enhancement Program. He has small business and marketing experience as co-founder of a clothing company.
Adam Hiler - Board Member
Adam is an Industrial Design Manager for a company in Elk River that specializes in the design and manufacture of parts for the powersports industry. With a passion for drawing and creating, he graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a degree in Transportation Design. Adam regularly volunteers at his church, as well as with the Special Olympics of Minnesota.
Betsey Hodson - Board Member
Betsey is a designer and illustrator and has over 15 years experience working with a variety of clients in the retail and non-profit sector as a designer and project manager. Her current focus is on children’s illustration and art education. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and is a volunteer with various art education programs including Art Buddies.
Karen Savage - Board Member
Karen is a mosaic artist and teaches mosaic classes for children and adults. She is a Speech/Language Pathologist for Minneapolis Public Schools. Her previous experience includes teaching children and adults with special needs. Karen has extensive volunteer experience as a photographer and communications liaison with youth organizations like Southwest High School Soccer and the Minneapolis Alpine Ski Team.
