Cindy PerusseBoard President

Cindy is an attorney at Perusse Family Law. Cindy is a licensed foster parent and has been involved in numerous organizations including, Normandale Elementary PTO, Wooddale Church Nursery, and Co-Chair of Democratic Precinct Caucus.

Nicole Nelson - Board Vice President

Nicole teaches Interactive Media and Graphic Design at a career college and is afreelance graphic designer. She has experience working with diverse populations, writing curriculum and developing programs. Nicole has been the Lake Harriet Public School PTA Communications Chair and the President of Lake Harriet Montessori Preschool. She also volunteers for Community Emergency Service.

Cynthia Loveland - Board Secretary

Cynthia is a retired social worker with over 40 years of experience working with families and children and the agencies that serve them. After retirement, she founded Bly and Loveland Press and has wrote and published four books. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers and Mn School Social Workers’ Association.

Mary George - Board Treasurer

Mary Jo has over 20 years experience working as a health care and disability advocate and lobbyist for MS society, MN AIDS project, MN Nurses Association and now AARP. Mary Jo is passionate about ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities to have access and full participation in the community. She has worked to improve laws to ensure these rights are enforced including working on passage of the Americans With Disabilities (ADA) and the passage and full implementation of the Accountable Care Act.

Cecilia Erickson - Board Member

Cecilia is a registered nurse and currently teaches public health nursing. She is passionate about providing services/resources/opportunities to those experiencing challenges in life. She has been on several committees/boards including, Chair for Wellness Center Vision, Secretary for LEAD, and School Nurse Organization of MN.

Carol Marshall - Board Member

Carol is a retired Special Education teacher. She has extensive experience providing educational programming and modifications for students of all ages. She has held several positions with various committees including, President of League of WomanVoters, President of Marshall Area Fine Arts Council, President of Milroy Education Association, and President of Harvest Hills Townhome Association.

Mary Maloney - Board Member

Mary is an Associate Professor at St. Thomas. She has extensive experience in education, curriculum and management. She has served on many committees and boards.
